Design of Workflow Engine Based on Relational Database

On the base of Workflow Reference Model of WfMC (Workflow Management Coalition),this paper presents the combination of workflow and RDB (Relational DataBase)to design a series of RDBbased workflow engine. The system realize the whole of mation of enterprise business through the application of client calls the database of server and server responds client with the pattern of C/S.
