Approach to SAP Testing and QM Best Practices

Jayaraman Kalaimani · Apress eBooks · 2015

Most of the projects fail due to common pitfalls such as lack of robust quality management practices, test skills, and scope of quality defined. One of the critical tasks in any implementation projects is to set up a robust quality control plan and execute a robust quality management process to ensure successful implementation. The quality of deliverables determines successful project implementations. The quality plan must encompass metrics, inputs and outputs measured with established baseline, and benchmark standards to develop a high quality software product. SAP provides a module "SAP QM," which is an integrated quality management for manufacturing quality analysis. This is different from the SAP software quality management best practices that we will discuss in this chapter. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
