Arterial chemoembolization for patients with advanced hepatocelular carcinoma under the guide of ultrasound.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization on treatment of advanced stages of hepa-tocelular carcinoma under the guide of ultrosound. Method: Choose 60 patients with advanced stages of hepatocelular carcinoma were undergoing transcatheter arterial chemoembolization and test the blood provision of tumor. Results: The function of liver have been im-proved, and the blood provision of tumor decreased to 71.67% after the TACE. Conclusion: It is suggested that transcatheter arterial chemoembolization is effective treatment for advanced stages of hepatocelular carcinoma.
