Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction: Models, Complexity, and Algorithms in Complex Dynamic and Evolving Networks
My T. Thai · 2015
Abstract : This project considers attack and defense problems on networks with respect to WMD attacks. It provides novel optimization models and solutions for network vulnerability assessment and defense measurement in the face of cascading failures and dynamic attacks. The critical infrastructures considered are complex systems which consist of multiple dynamic independent networks interacting to each other. The attacks we considered are dynamic, that is, another attack may be launched during the recovery.
