Chapter 15 (32 pages) introduces the world of the Universal Personal Telecommunications services and relates services of fixed telecommunications systems to the mobile radio domain. The UPT concept is explained and PCS introduced as incarnation of the concept of intelligent networks (IN). Numbering and dialling systems are given and the concept of IN introduced.
