An ECM + Analysis on Lingchi Event in Sandalwood Death
Mao Jiguang, Deng Qing · 2015
Event-domain Cognitive Model( ECM) is a new one developed from related studies． Based on a review of ECM theory and Construal，the present thesis ventures to combine the two advances，and thus constructs an ECM + theory，which is applied to the analysis on the Lingchi event in Mo Yan's Sandalwood Death． And hopefully，this study would provide an added insight for doing applied cognitive linguistics．
