Sapphire-A JavaCard VM for a 1-MB Flash Memory Smart Card

The most critical problem with JavaCards is the limited memory capacity of smart cards. Although JavaCard VM can handle multiple applications, the smaller the smart card memory, the fewer applets it can run. The Sapphire is designed to resolve this issue, providing a large flash memory capacity of 1 Mbyte.
