New Hybrid Algorithms for Nonexpansive Mappings in Banach Spaces

In this paper, a new hybrid projection algorithm is considered for a pair of nonexpansive mappings. Strong convergence theorems of common elements are obtained in a uniformly convex and smooth Banach space. The results presented in this paper improve and extend the corresponding results announced in Matsushita and Takahashi [Approximating fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space by metric projections, Appl.
