Today’s wireless technologies have become increasingly popular not only in computing industry but also in many colleges and universities in the Philippines. It is quickly gaining a position that affects not just the classroom environment and technology access, but also the actual activities of learning and teaching. In this regard, the study was conceptualized to design and implement a secured, scalable and unified wireless network for distribution and management of Internet connection. The researchers utilized descriptive research method. A wireless lifecycle model is used in designing and implementing the wireless network. The wireless network design was tested among selected number of users. After several observations, it was concluded that the network design poses some advantages that include but not limited to (a) better user control and authentication through the ticketing system; (b) improved resource management such as bandwidth allocation (upload and download speed per user; (c) improved access control by limiting the rules on content filtering usage; (d) better system management; and (e) better coverage through long range wireless radio. The study recommends that the said network design be adopted. Keywords-Information Technology, wireless Internet, network design, descriptive design, Philippines
