A Class of Compactly Supported Orthonormal B-Spline Wavelets

We continue the study of constructing compactly sup- ported orthonormal B-spline wavelets originated by T.N.T. Good- man. We simplify his constructive steps for compactly supported orthonormal scaling functions and provide an inductive method for constructing compactly supported orthonormal wavelets. Three ex- amples of compactly supported orthonormal B-spline wavelets are included for demonstrating our constructive procedure.
