Monitoring and fixing DTS (Data Translation Specification) processes are integral to the development and long-term support of your solution. There are two basic types of solutions. The first is a DTS package that is run completely within the Workbench and does not rely on MSMQ (Microsoft Message Queuing) or being run on a schedule. The second is a DTS package that has been set up within the Console as a scheduled process, also known as an Integration. Both of these use a combination of tools for troubleshooting, as outlined in this chapter. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
