On the size of Diophantine $m$-tuples for linear polynomials

Alan Filipin, Ana Jurasić · Miskolc mathematical notes/Mathematical notes · 2017

In this paper we prove that there does not exist a set with more than 16 nonzero polynomials in KŒX, where K is any field of characteristic 0, such that the product of any two of them increased by a linear polynomial n 2 KŒX is a square of a polynomial from KŒX.
