SOFTWARE AGENT BASED FOREST FIRE DETECTION (SAFFD): A NOVEL APPROACH

The foundation of current research work is to make use of software agents for an event driven application like forest fire detection as deployment of software agents in non deterministic environment of WSN has proved to be better than the conventional client server technology. In this work the task of data dissemination and the decision on the aggregated results is achieved through software agents. The implementation of the same has been done in aglets and the results obtained has indicated significant increase in the lifetime of network which itself is a unique contribution in the community of WSN.
