the artificial exoskeleton is a kind of wearable robots based on the man-machine coupling system combining the human intelligence and the mechanical strength. This paper presents the current research and application of the artificial exoskeleton and analyzes several typical control methods applied to the exoskeleton and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods. This paper also discusses The future development trend of the exoskeleton and concludes that the power supply problem has greatly limited the application of the exoskeleton, which can be probably solved by the wireless power transmission technology.
