The paper deals with the unbundling legacy of telemetry systems. Duplication and inflexibility in the current portfolio has resulted in a large quantity of legacy. The article explores the current position of telemetry solutions in the utility company. The paper also presents the significant challenges and improvements for the level of management information through IT solutions to facilitate the transformation needed without the duplication of the system.
