The Application of Association Rules Mining in Building Intelligent Transportation Systems

Association rules are an important research topic in data mining research. The association rule describes a meaningful link between a given data set. Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) is the future direction of development of the transport system, and its advanced information technology, data communication transmission technology, the electronic sensor technology, control technology and computer technology. ITS can effectively use existing transportation facilities, reduce traffic load and environmental pollution, to ensure traffic safety, improve transport efficiency. The paper presents building the intelligent transportation system based on association rule mining and models. The comparative analysis of the results shows that the FP-growth is higher operating efficiency than the Unid_FP-Max.
