Análisis de rendimiento de servidores en un proyecto de desarrollo de software

The following paper studies performance indicators and analyses servers' performance in ERP-Cuba project, which belong to Entity Management Informatization Centre (CEIGE).To achieve this goal firstly a study on performance indicators is carried out, in order to calculate servers' performance in the project.Particularities of performance indicators' characteristics are taken into account, emphasizing in the ones which are especially used in this ambit.The selection system for a software platform to assess performance is explained, clarifying there are several methods to determine if the platform selected reaches the performance goal.An analysis of Kendall's notation is realized, it is used to describe a queueing system, defining its characteristics.Necessary elements to calculate servers' performance are defined, such us: server utilization rate, waiting time, along with Procedure for performance evaluation and optimization.After that, design of current distribution of servers in ERP project, and performance calculation are carried out, once the results have been obtained, can be appreciated this topic is far away from improvement, above all because is complicated when developing an ERP web system.Due to all results, optimization and hardware of project's server are recommended.
