Computer Design of Electricity Supply Networks by a Heuristic Method

This paper describes a program for designing power supply networks, to satisfy many security constraints, using a heuristic, tree searching method. Although the problem is formally an integer linear programming one, the heuristic method will tackle much larger networks.
