INVESTIGATION OF RF NOISE GENERATION FROM SPACE VEHICLES
H. WISER, R.D. Wanselow · 1963
The primary objective of this study was to determine analytically and experimentally the rf power spectrum of noise generated by electrical propulsion devices, with emphasis on the cesium contact ion engine being developed at. Hughes Research Laboratories. The following information was important for the design of flight test telemetry and space vehicle communications systems which require a minimum of interference with on-board space receivers.
