Fast Annealing Evolution Algorithms (FAEA) is a new global optimization technique that has been used to solve the energy minimization problem in computational chemistry. FAEA combines the idea of adaptive simulated annealing (ASA) with the po pulation concept of genetic algorithms. FAEA has been shown to be effective to solve unconstrained minimization problem. In this paper, we made some modification to FAEA. We also extend FAEA for constrained and problems with multiple minima. The capabilities of the purposed algorithms are demonstrated by several numerical examples.
