Stochastic and coherence resonance of map-based neural models with Feed-Forward-Loop network structure

The effect of noise on map-based neural model within Feed-Forward-Loop (FFL) network motif is investigated. FFL network motifs constructed by three neurons can be divided into eight types, due to neurons are classified into excitatory and inhibitory. Stochastic resonance and coherence resonance are observed by simulating on all types of FFL network motifs. In addition, it is found that different types of feed-forward and coupling strength have a significant impact on dynamic performance of system.
