Design of a Proxy Server for Supporting Collaborating Agents

In order to meet the complicated service requirements in these days, the devices have to be become more intelligent and this is one of reasons why most devices are equipped with agents. In this paper, device management servers are designed to interact with agents installed in devices to be managed remotely. A proxy server is proposed in this study to support collaborating agents for device management. Located between P2P hosts and the device management server, the proxy server relays messages between P2P hosts and the device management server. The proxy server also manages chat groups and multicast messages on behalf of the device management server.
