This book is definitely not one for a clinician interested in the way CT works and looking for some light reading in the evening. Part of the very useful Springer Verlag series, it is a collection of papers presented at a specialized conference of mathematicians in Germany in 1980. It is very mathematically orientated, and is certainly not didactic.
