The Research and Technology of Evaluation of Public Transportation Data Collection System Based on WSN

Based on the analysis Public Transportation demand and Data Collection System, the authors proposed an approach to evaluate the performance of public transportation data collection system using WSN by Network Simulation technology. A model of public transportation data collection and transmission model was established based on OPENT, and some parameters that determine the capability of PTDCS were simulated via different scenarios. Simulation results validated the capability of WSN on continuous collection and data transmission, forecast the reliability of system and the veracity of data and implemented the evaluation approach of public transportation data collection system based on WSN.
