A methodology for the evaluation of languages for the development of information system performance models

The goal of this research is to develop a methodology for language evaluation, which will assist in the selection of an appropriate language for use in synthesizing computer-based information system performance models.Language evaluation involves the matching of modeling requirements and language capabilities and modeler language skill level.The most appropriate language is defined as the one which permits the development of a model satisfying specified modeling requirements with the least modeler effort.
