Using Decision Tree Algorithm to construct Intelligent Traffic Management System

Intelligent Transportation System is to effectively integrate advanced information technology, communication technology, sensor technology, control technology and computer technology applied to the entire transportation management system, build a all-round role in a wide range of, real-time, accurate and efficient integrated transportation management system. The decision tree algorithm is an approximation of the discrete function values. It is a typical classification method, the data processing, the use of rules and decision tree induction algorithm to generate readable, and it is essentially a set of rules for data classification process. The paper presents to using Decision Tree Algorithm to construct Intelligent Traffic Management System. Experiment results show that the C4.5 algorithm can better than ID3 algorithm in constructing ITS.
