Content Delivery Network for Remote Ground Test Monitoring
Cameron Liner · 2010
In order to better support test customers at the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), Arnold AFB, TN, a Content Delivery Network is being designed to enable remote monitoring of ground-based testing activities. This network is scalable to meet the needs of multiple customers’ unique monitoring requirements. The Content Delivery Network will provide streaming media containing the test conductor’s intercom channel audio and a preselected test cell camera feed. The customer will also be provided a data stream from the real-time data system containing a predetermined number of parameters at a set update rate and a two-way link to the customer-owned Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) Test System to allow for off-line troubleshooting and code revision from the remote site.
