Nowadays, the application of data mining inthe healthcare industry is necessary. Datamining brings a set of tools and techniques thatcan be applied to discover hidden patterns thatprovide healthcare professionals an additionalsource of knowledge for making decisions. Inmore detail, clustering the patients that have thesame status helps discovering new disease, butthe suitable number of clusters is not oftenobvious. In this paper, we choose k-means, oneof the most popularly used clustering algorithmsin the research community, to improve, base onthe previous research of the others.
