A generalized matrix version of Rennie's inequality

The matrix version of Rennie's inequality and the finite-dimensional version of Kantorovich's inequality are obtained by considering a positive definite matrix and its inverse_ Generalizations of these inequalities are obtained in which the inverse matrix is replaced by a generalized inverse with certain prescribed properties_ From the generalization of the Kantorovi ch inequality follows a (finitedimensional) generalization of an inequality due to Strang_ Key Words: Generali zed inverse, inequality, matrix.
