GeMsaec:* A New Analytic Tool for Clinical Chemistry Total Serum Protein with the Biuret Reaction

A method is described for determining total serum protein using a new, rapid microanalytic system in which quantification depends upon the color developed during the first few seconds of the biuret reaction. The method is in excellent agreement with the Kjeldahl method of nitrogen analysis for determining serum protein.
