Convergence and Implementation of the E-Financial and Transportation Management System Model

Logistics industry is the 9th largest GDP contributor of 2012. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport has made various efforts to further development the logistic industry; however, the Information Communication Technology has not been applied along with the importance of the logistics industry. This paper will serve as a proposal for basic data structures that will reduce the freight payment delays and unpaid vulnerability of the conventional transportation management system, apply the converged financial transportation management system to a real logistic company, and present the results. The result showed that the average freight collection terms have been reduced from 42 days to 3.4 days when the converged e-financial transportation management system was applied.
