This paper reports a new detection method or internal defect or damage in concrete structure by wavelet analysis.We have developed a detection method of exfoliations for outward tile wall by wavelet analysis.Test concrete wall with internal flaws and rock pocket was struck with an aluminum sphere， and then sound pressure waveform was diagnosed by wavelet analysis.Integral of wavelet values was then calculated and these integration values indicated the position of internal defect or damage.The diagnosing ability of the wavelet analysis method for concrete structures was confirmed as well as tile wall.
