Abstract : The purpose of this project has been to explore the role of financial analysis as a decision consideration in source selection and to develop a case situation which would motivate discussion and understanding of that role. Participation in a situation of this nature provided the experience and insight necessary to develop a realistic teaching vehicle for the practical application of analysis techniques as well as a framework for the discussion of the role of financial analysis in the source selection process.
