An Electrophysiological Voltage to Frequency-Frequency to Voltage Fm Converter and Tape Recording System1

A relatively inexpensive high performance FM tape system for bioelectrical recording was developed utilizing voltage to frequency-frequency to voltage converters as intermediaries between an AM tape recorder and an oscilloscope. Frequency response is within 3 decibels from dc to 500 Hz with a rise time of ca. 1 msec with a conversion linearity of 1%.
