Stability of Coupled Quantum Dot Cells at Finite Temperatures

M. V. Batistuta, Mattia Stella, João C. Costa · ECS Transactions · 2007

Coupled quantum dot cells are the basic functional structures in implementing Quantum Cellular Automata (QCA), which may offer higher computational capabilities for integrated circuits. In this work a transport dynamics model, and a robust numerical simulation strategy, for behavior prediction and optimization were developed, where thermal noise is considered in order to validate stable operation at finite temperatures.
