Traffic Flow Prediction Based on High-Order Generalized Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithm: A Case on China

Traffic flow forecasting is an important element of Traffic Guidance System and other components of ITS. This paper proposes a method for urban traffic flow prediction, which takes advantage of High-order Generalized Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms. The test results show them to.be efficient when used in a test case of China.
