Human centric ambient based on converged information and communication technologies (ICTs)

Even though several ICTs have been advanced, they do not offer human centric solutions. Harmonization of ICT convergence and human nature will be needed, especially in the coming aging society. After overviewing recent ICT trends, some issues for realizing a truly human centric ambient are elucidated.
