Researches on the design and analysis strategy of the huge geometry with millions of receiving traces

The greatly improved channel capacity of seismic acquisition makes it possible for us to use high-density seismic exploration. Projects with tens of thousands of traces have been planned in many blocks today. Amount of data will be generated when we design and analysis such a huge geometry, which makes us cannot analysis and accurate it. This paper presents a thorough research to the bottleneck problems of the design and analysis for huge geometry with millions of receiving traces. It dissects the problems from the geometry design, conventional analysis and pre-stack analysis and proposes the solutions for the problems.
