Albert Schueller ([email protected]) received his Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1996 under Peter Perry. Since then, he has been teaching at Whitman College. His research interests include parallel computation, inverse problems, and, most recently, cellular automata. When not doing mathematics, he enjoys cycling among the wheat fields around Walla Walla, backpacking with his family, and hacking around with Linux.
