In the present paper, a general measuring method is proposed for the state quantities (physical quantities under equilibrium state) of the pile such as reflection, internal and external forces of pile, etc. The method utilizes the measured values of strains and displacements, and the transfer matrix to calculate those quantities. Since it uses piecewise polynominal function, we can obtain the data which don't depend upon the individual pile theory. In order to evaluate this method, the calculated values were compared with theoretical and experimental ones, and satisfactory results were obtained.
