Companies are producing more reports, more paperwork, but their white collar workers are not producing as much real work. This has affected the corporation’s bottom line making them: less profitable; less competitive; and less productive. Software applications are a collection of dissimilar tools rather than components of an integrated solution. Corporations have cried out to personal computer (PC) hardware and software vendors to deliver technologies that can help them reverse this white collar productivity trend. NewWave allows companies to integrate the data and applications on PCs so that users can use “drag and drop” actions to integrate say, a spread-sheet and a word processing document. NewWave then allows the spread-sheet to be edited with the document so giving the user live editing capabilities. NewWave allows hotlinking, or true sharing of information/data throughout the system.
