An User Interface of Live Video Mixing System Using Hand Gesture Recognition

When the video producer has to carry out the conversion of various images quickly matching situations on the stage in the performance using the image in real-time, if the user interface is designed to control the device with easy gestures of an image director unlike existing equipment which controls the function through a physical device such as keyboard, mouse, buttons, slide bar, etc., faster and more convenient real-time image producing will be possible. Especially, if DJ needs to run the performance and, at the same time, control the image, non-contact type of control through gesture recognition is effective. For this, the user interface being capable of real-time video production by utilizing the recognition device which can recognize hand gestures is suggested and the utilization possibility is to be proposed.
