In this paper we focus on cost estimation models that can handle Incremental Commitment/Development Model and Model Driven Development. In the process we point to innovative methodologies and techniques used for productivity measurements in both models. In the dynamic enterprise software and large systems development there are major challenges in adapting productivity measurement techniques and cost estimation methods. The cost estimation and productivity measurement models are evolutionary. Appropriate statistical machine learning algorithms, in specific exponential family of algorithms are used to find and adopt optimized solution over time.
