The Customized Scheme Structure for Prevent Cyber Threats on the Critical Information and Communication Infrastructure

Abstract Cyber attacks that recently occurred in Korea such as 3.20 cyber terror and 6.25 cyber attack have targeted main ICT infrastructures such as the press, broadcasting companies, and financial institutions. Moreover cyber attack techniques are becoming more advanced and elaborate. Because of such cyber attacks, the need for improving practical and systematical security measures on main ICT infrastructures have arisen. In this paper, we analyze infrastructure security policy of advanced nations, and propose customized security structure. We also suggest security policy of each of infrastructure classified by the characteristics of the main ICT infrastructure and step-by-step security scheme consisted of 4 stage such as policy, management, technique and international cooperation.
