Experience in monitoring internal software quality with Sotograph
Walter R. Bischofberger · 2004
Sotograph, is a tool supporting code comprehension and quality analysis of mid-sized to large Java and C/C++ software systems. Sotograph is practically applied by consultants in internal product quality assessments and it is marketed to end-users for one year. A tool for continuous quality monitoring, therefore, has to support trend analysis, i.e., the analysis of how problems change over time. Using trend analysis an architect or technical project leader has to look, for example, only an architecture violations that were introduced or removed since the last analysis.
