Passenger's Bus Line Recognition Method for Smartphone Based Bus Information System

Smartphones are equipped with accurate sensors, GPS receivers, cameras and other useful gadgets nowadays. Making use of these gadgets, we can find out most of information serviced by the current Bus Information Systems. This paper reviews the architecure of a smartphone based bus information system and presents a method of recognizing the bus line of a passenger's bus.
