Does UML improve software quality? A real-world case study

The introduction of UML and the Pragma process has been significantly beneficial. An improvement in software quality has been clearly demonstrated, which should lead to lower future maintenance costs. The development of the "X Series" has already demonstrated cost savings by the reuse of software and has produced increased revenue by getting the product to market quicker. The "C Series" series should also build on this. The improved communication within and across teams is leading to better requirements definition. (17 pages)
