Autonomous Decentralized System (“ADS”) is the system architecture to be able to construct high expandability, maintainability, reliability, connectivity and flexibility Integrated Information and Control Systems. ADS has been applied in a lot of systems, such as Iron and Steel Plant Control Systems, Traffic Control Systems, Industrial Systems and Information Communication Systems, after the study and development of ADS had been started in 1977. ADS has already been manufactured as communication middle software packages in the current rapid openoriented situation. The connection interface of ADS has also been opened at the beginning in 1996, and the ADS standardization as the decentralized system communication architecture for Integrated Information and Control Systems is now proceeding.
