Programming Probit Analysis

Probit analysis is a conventional technique for evaluating a quantal response to a stimulus (Finney 1971). Data amenable to this analytical method include the results of bioassays of drugs, insecticides, and fungicides. With suitable generalization, probit analysis has been applied to other kinds of investigations (Press 1972).
