Finiteness of Negative Spectra of Elliptic Operators

Abstract Finiteness criteria are established for the negative spectra of higher order elliptic operators on Rn. The results are obtained by establishing isomorphism theorems for elliptic operators and applying the abstract finiteness criterion of Konno-Kuroda.
